9^th Annual Tennessee Tree Climbing Championship

Presented by the Tennessee Urban Forestry Council (TUFC)

Location: Memphis Botanic Garden, Audubon Park

Saturday, September 8th

TUFC Members $35, Non-Members $40

 This exciting statewide competition promotes tree care professionalism and safety practices. Contestants will compete in five preliminary events and the top scores from those will compete in the Master’s Challenge. Participants compete for the state title and an automatic birth in the International Society of Arboriculture, Southern tree climbing competition in the spring. The winner of the Southern competition will proceed to the International competition in late summer. In addition to the climbers, a host of judges come from across the state to provide the contest judging and oversee the safety measures for the event.

Friday 4:30 pm – Walk through for judges and contestants and equipment inspection

Saturday 7:00 am – Final rules meeting, equipment inspection and competition

Competition continues throughout Saturday 8 am - 5 pm. Spectators Welcomed!
